Using presentation order (V5.x.x)
When you perform songs, you may have a set running order e.g. Verse 1, Chorus, Verse 2, Chorus, Chorus, Bridge, Chorus. Rather than having to retype the chorus several times in the song edit window, you can choose to use 'Presentation order'. This allows you to specify the running order of a song using the tags. Please note that you can only use a tag name once. E.g. if you have two different choruses in the song, you should use different tags such as [C1] and [C2] otherwise the app won't know which chorus to use in the Presentation order.
To set the presentation order of a song, pull up the edit song window as previously described (or click on the song title in the action bar and then click on Edit). Scroll down the edit page until you see the 'Presentation order' field. This may be empty if you haven't set it yet. Click on the field and you will be taken to the Presentation order wizard.
This page looks for the available tags saved in your song and presents them as a series of green Song section buttons. Clicking on each Song section button will add it into the presentation order. If you make a mistake, or do not want to use presentation order, click on 'Delete'. Click on the tick at the top to save the presentation order, then save the edited song.
To tell OpenSongApp that you want to use 'Presentation order' when it is available in a song, you need to switch this feature on in the 'Song' option menu. If this is turned on and no presentation order is found, the app uses the order of the song as it is written. Some users never want to see the Presentation order, but share songs with others that do. In this case, switch off the 'Presentation Order' feature.
