Custom slides
Found under: Settings > Manage your sets > Custom slides
Custom slides give the option of adding non-song slides to OpenSong sets. There are three types of custom slides:
Simple note / placeholder: Useful for adding simple notes for presentation (e.g. a welcome piece of text), or for performances these can indicate splits in your setlist where you would take a break etc.
Custom slide: These are for adding several slides with a bit more information. These can be set to loop with a chosen display time for each slide during presentation mode. Performance/Stage mode will display this as a song with each slide as a new section.
Image slideshow: These can be used to show a slideshow of different images (e.g. newsletter pages, recent events, etc.). These can be set to loop with a chosen display time for each slide during presentation mode. Performance/Stage mode will display this as an image song with each image as a new section. Image resolution is reduced to avoid memory issues.
Choose the appropriate slide type and enter the relevant data. Clicking on the + button next to the content will allow you to add multiple pages or images (depending on the slide type you are creating).
If you are likely to use this slide often (e.g. in newly created sets), you can save the slide as a resusable slide by switching on the Save as a reusable slide option. Any reusable slides you have previously created can be loaded by clicking on the Load a reusable slide button.
When you click on the + Add to set button, a new set item will be created at the end of your set and a reusable file will be created if requested.
