App usage logs
Found under: Settings > About > App usage logs
By default OpenSongApp keeps a record of all file actions when using the app. These records are saved in the OpenSong/Settings folder and are not shared with anyone. They can be used to help track any issue you may encounter, or simply as a record of the most recent songs you have viewed. You can switch these automatic logs on or off at anytime, reset them or share them with others.
File write activity log
This file records all actions carried out by the app that involve creating new files, editing or deleting existing ones. When the app indexes your song library, any errors it encounters are written to this file. This file is created at OpenSong/Settings/fileWriteActivity.txt and has a maximum size of 900kB. If the file exceeds this, it is automatically cleared and starts again.
Song view log
This file keeps a note of any songs you open. It can be useful if you want to check out your most recently viewed songs. It is created as a comma separated values text file that can be viewed in a text editor or spreadsheet software. This is similar to the CCLI log. This file is created at OpenSong/Settings/fileHistory.csv and has a maximum size of 300kB. If the file exceeds this, it is automatically cleared and starts again.
Crash log
If the app crashes, or misbehaves, it will often record what lines of code caused the issue. You will see the Reset and Share buttons if the crash log exists. You can share this directly using the email option (send to address will be filled in for you). Please add a comment about what you were doing when the app crashed.
