If you are listening along to an audio track and need help working out the chords, you can use the built in Chord Detection utility.
By default, this will use your microphone (you will need to have given the app permission to use the microphone), however, you can also switch to using the device audio if you are playing audio on your device (from an app such as YouTube Music, or directly from OpenSongApp).
In order to use the device Audio stream, you will need to grant permission to record the entire screen. The audio is processed in real time on your device and is not saved to your device or shared with anyone.
This utility works best with guitar chords and may struggle with more complicated audio (e.g. full band).
A short video showing how to access the Chord detector utility (it can also be triggered using a custom control method such as a page button, foot pedal control, etc.) is shown here. This also shows the permission required to record the entire screen.
